Summer Day Horse Camp

Horse day camp includes plenty of trail rides and lessons. Turkey Creek hosts summer day horse camp every year. This year's camp will be from Monday, May 28, 2007, through Friday, August 17, 2007. We will start taking reservations on Monday, April 2nd at (813) 737-1312.

Let your children learn to ride and care for a horse while having fun with other kids their age! Our horse camp is available for children ages 7 and up.

Horse day camp is held Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6 PM. Last year's camp was the best year ever and many days were full! See some photos from Horse Camp 2004 here.

Picnics are always fun. Costs are quite reasonable:

$150 per week, or
$50 per day or
$35 per half day, or
$85 per week if you have your own horse (plus $175 per month for pasture board if you wish to board your horse here for the summer).

Parents are asked to pack a lunch Mondays - Thursdays. Each Friday, campers have a wiener roast.

Day camp includes horse care and Western riding lessons, hayrides, picnics, and games. A horse is provided to each child for all riding events.

Take a Riding Lesson

Turkey Creek also offers additional beginning rider and western riding lessons.

Prices for group riding lessons are great - only $20 per hour, with the horse provided! All ages and experience levels taught on Western tack.

Lessons are available Monday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.. Reservations are required.
