Speed Shows: Barrels, Poles
 Turkey
Creek hosts a Speed Show the first Saturday of every month. The speed show competition starts at 7 PM and sign up starts
at 6 PM.
Entry fees are
reasonable: $20.00 entry fee for all events (except Jackpot
Barrels and Poles) or $4.00 for each event. Speed Show
events include Poles, Cloverleaf Barrels,
Texas
Barrels,
Hairpin,
2 fun events and Exhibition Barrels. The competition day starts with
Exhibition barrels followed by Cloverleaf barrels.
Plus, we have Jackpot
Poles and Jackpot Barrels at $10 per run with a 75% entry fee payback.
Each speed show event
is divided into age classes. The classes can include: pee wee,
junior and senior (based on number of entrants).
Awards are given to
the top five in each class, but there must be five (5) entries in the
age class to award the highpoint trophy for that group.
Valid negative coggins
test documentation required to compete.
 No
Grounds Fee, No Admission Fee.
We have an on-site
concession stand. Come on out and compete, or just watch! Watch those
agile barrel horses do their stuff! The action is
fast
and furious. Everyone gets involved. Results will be posted here.
Super Senior Speed
Shows
We have also had
some special speed
shows for those in the "Super Senior"
rider category (35 and up). Everyone had a blast. "Senior"
riders competed in Barrels, Poles, Texas Barrels and some fun games
with some equally fun prizes.
